Memo Book comes in handy if you want to keep a journal, if you’re working on a dissertation or a book, or if you want to securely collect information. You see, Memo Book is a personal information manager (PIM for short) that will help you store and organize text and attachments. All the information stored by Memo Book is nicely presented as a tree structure.

The setup wizard that will help you install Memo Book on your PC will have you pick one of three installation options: full installation, compact installation, and custom installation. The full installation includes the following components: program files, help files, example files, and spellcheck.

Run Memo Book and you will be presented with a prompt that allows you to create a new file, open an existing file, or load the aforementioned example file. Go with the example file and the application’s interface will be populated with information. This will help you quickly get started with the interface and will provide easy access to useful information on what Memo Book has to offer.

Speaking about what this personal information manager has to offer, Memo Book puts the following features at your disposal: edit text, attach files to text, tree structure to nicely organize all your documents, import and export data, encryption and password protection, file compression, text to speech tool, screen capture tool, and more.

Lots of useful functionality is offered by Memo Book. Use it to store and manage text documents efficiently and securely.

Pros

There are several installation types to choose from. There’s a handy example file that you can load and play with. You won’t have any problems figuring out the interface. Store and manage text documents; attach files to documents.

Cons

Trial limitation: a file is editable for 3 days in the demo version.
